VACANCY: PORTFOLIO ADMINISTRATOR

Arysteq Asset Management, a leading Namibian boutique asset management company is looking for passionate, innovative, naturally curious and independent thinking individuals. In addition, we seek someone with the highest level of ethical integrity. We currently have a vacancy for an energetic and professional individual to join our operations and administration team as a Portfolio Administrator. The ideal candidate will combine a strong administrative skill set with a range of problem-solving skills to assist in effective administration of client portfolios.

Key Performance Areas

  • Statement and database administration including maintaining relationships with the service providers.
  • Performance of timely cash reconciliations, reviewing any reconciliation items and resolving issues.
  • Manage daily transaction flows between funds and client accounts.
  • Compiles and generates reports on a timely basis in line with expectations within client mandates.
  • Maintain and update instrument static data within the investment administration system.
  • Ensure compliance with internal policies, procedures, and applicable regulatory requirements.
  • Perform scrip reconciliation between portfolio system and its counterparties.

Minimum qualification & experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting or administration.
  • Basic understanding of the financial services and markets industry in Namibia.
  • Minimum work experience of 3 years.
  • Advanced MS Excel proficiency.
  • Portfolio Administration system proficiency.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Engaging with third party service providers in an ethical and responsible manner.

The ideal candidate must be a Namibian citizen or permanent resident.

Remuneration:  Negotiable market related package.
