Penda Kiiyala is an accomplished political scientist and development economist with extensive experience in both fields. He has studied in the United States of America, United Kingdom, South Africa and the Netherlands. He holds a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science, a Postgraduate Diploma in Development Policy, a Master's degree in International Studies, a Postgraduate Diploma in Senior Management, and a Master of Business Administration. Throughout his distinguished career, Mr. Kiiyala has held numerous high-level positions, including General Manager at Rio Tinto and Chief Executive Officer at the Road Fund Administration. His broad expertise has also led him to serve on various boards, contributing his knowledge and skills to multiple organisations. Penda joined Arysteq in May 2024.
