Arysteq & Simonis Storm Schools Tournament Series – T3
This past weekend, table tennis enthusiasts witnessed the thrilling T3 tournament of the Arysteq & Simonis Storm Schools Tournament Series. Hosted by the Namibia Table Tennis Association (NTTA), young talents showcased their prowess and sportsmanship across various divisions, leaving the spirit of the competition high and spectators in awe.
The Boys U19 category witnessed an outstanding display of talent, with Caden Bosman emerging victorious after a hard-fought battle. Bosman’s tenacity was evident throughout the tournament. Kevin Zhang showcased commendable skill as the silver medalist, while Pascal Eysselein and Kamrouz Ghayouri earned the distinction of bronze medalists. Moses Kanama exhibited determination, emerging as the Plate's winner.
In the U17 division, Kamrouz showcased his talent claiming the gold medal, whilst Kevin continued to impress, earning himself a silver medal. The bronze medal was shared by Pascal and Caden. Hangula Immanuel from Olof Palme showed grit, emerging victorious as the plate’s winner.
Lian Gebauer demonstrated her skill, clinching the gold medal in the U19, U17 and U15 divisions. Justina Nampolo from Eliminators Club earned herself a silver medal in the U19 category, whilst Netanya Beukes and Esther Shatika battled it out for the bronze medal, resulting in a joint victory. The same division saw Karolina Shigwedha walking away as winner of the plates' category.
Kelly Zhang managed to secure herself the silver medal in the U17 division, following Cadence Farmer and Esther Shitaka as the victorious bronze winners. The plate's winner for the girls U17 division was awarded to Justina.
Whilst Lian maintained her winning streak for the U15 division, Cadence was awarded the silver medal, bronze was shared between Kelly and Esther, and Justina once again victorious with securing the plates title.
The boys U15 division saw Caden swoop the gold medal, Kevin demonstrated consistency with seizing the silver medal and bronze was awarded to Daniel Beukes and Kamrouz Ghayouri.
The U13 divisions had Kamrouz and Kelly celebrating their victorious gold medals, Jason and Cadence were awarded silver. The bronze positions were shared between Sakaria Imbondi and Wilhelm Twyman & Sharonice and Suverasaneje, respectively. The plates winners for this division were Hangula Immanuel and Rachel Kambonde from Olof Palme.
The boys U11 division showcased so much talent, but in the end, Terence was victorious in winning his gold medal, Wilhelm proudly seizing the silver position, leaving the bronze position to be shared by Carlo Neuhaus and Killian Beukes. The plate's winner of the division was Fritz Hochobeb from Highlands Christian school, showcasing determination and skill.
