We are proud to announce a major milestone in Arysteq’s journey — the successful listing of our very first Actively Managed Exchange Traded Fund (AMETF), the Arysteq Short-Term Income AMETF (ASIETF), on the Johannesburg Stock Exchange (JSE).
This exciting development took place just over a week ago, marking a significant achievement not only for Arysteq but also for the Namibian financial industry. The ASIETF is the first Namibian-based fund to be listed on the JSE, proudly approved by the Namibia Financial Institutions Supervisory Authority (NAMFISA). Designed for modern investors, the fund offers a low-cost, flexible alternative to traditional, non-listed income products. It provides convenient access to a portfolio of short- to medium-term instruments issued by banks and other reputable institutions. These instruments are carefully selected based on their risk profiles, with a focus on capital preservation and consistent income generation.
This launch is more than just a product. It’s a reflection of who we are. From the inception of the idea to the execution of the listing, it has been driven by our commitment to innovation, disciplined investment thinking, and our passion for making world-class financial solutions accessible to all investors. The initial listing includes 100,000 participatory interests in the ASIETF, at an indicative price of 1000 cents (R10) per security. The listing, which took place on 23 April, increases the number of ETFs on the JSE to 120, with the total market capitalisation of listed ETFs now exceeding R206 billion. This is a step forward not just for Arysteq, but for every investor looking for smarter, more transparent investment opportunities.
