Exciting Action at Tournament 2 of the Arysteq Asset Management and Simonis Storm
Schools Series

The second tournament in the Arysteq Asset Management and Simonis Storm Schools Tournament Series took place on 29 March 2025 at the Wanderers Sports Hall in Windhoek. Now in its third consecutive year, this thrilling series continues to grow, thanks to the generous support of our sponsors.

This year’s event attracted a total of 48 players, with 30 junior men and 18 junior women competing across the Under-11, Under-13, Under-15, Under-17, and Under-19 singles categories. Despite some schools being unable to participate, the turnout showcased the dedication and enthusiasm of young table tennis players.

Key Highlights of the Tournament

  • Under-19 Junior Men: Caden Bosman (DHPS) dominated once again, defeating Kamrouz Ghayouri (St Paul’s College) 2-0 to claim his second consecutive victory in this series.

  • Under-19 Junior Women: Lian Gebauer (DHPS) delivered a flawless performance, defeating Cadence Farmer in straight sets to secure her second win of the season. Lian’s determination to defend her 2023 and 2024 titles is evident.

  • Under-17 and Under-15 Junior Men: Kamrouz Ghayouri and Agape Chicalu (both from St Paul’s College) went head-to-head in two gripping finals. Kamrouz emerged victorious in both categories, showcasing his exceptional talent at just 14 years old.
