The Arysteq Klein Windhoek Squash Club Open Tournament took place over the weekend from the 2nd to the 4th of October, bringing together squash players and supporters for an action-packed few days of competition, camaraderie, and great sportsmanship.
Hosted at the Arysteq Klein Windhoek Squash Club, the tournament saw players compete in two highly competitive divisions. The atmosphere throughout the weekend was energetic and full of excitement as players gave it their all, showcasing incredible skill, determination, and heart in every match.
In Division A, Arno Diekmann claimed the top spot after a weekend of outstanding performances. Francois Junior took second place, Steven Berry finished third, and Sven Gruttemeyer rounded off the top four. The matches were intense and thrilling, keeping spectators on the edge of their seats from start to finish.
Division B brought just as much energy and drive. Manus Grobler emerged as the winner, followed by Ulrich Etzold in second place, Phillip Balhao in third, and Henrik Diemann in fourth. Each match reflected the true spirit of competitive squash, focused, fast-paced, and full of passion.
The Arysteq KWSC Open isn’t just about trophies and rankings. It’s about connection, growth, and the love of the game. Every tournament reminds us how strong and vibrant the Namibian squash community is, and we’re excited to keep building on that momentum in the months ahead.
